Our adventure begins on the island of Fuvahmulah, a paradise known for its Tiger Zoo, where you'll have the unique opportunity to dive with some of the most impressive and fascinating sharks in the world.
From the majestic tiger sharks to the agile thresher sharks, enigmatic hammerheads, and graceful oceanic mantas, this is a natural spectacle that will leave you in awe. And that’s not all! In the southern channels, close encounters await with whitetip and blacktip reef sharks, grey reef sharks, and the impressive silvertip sharks. All of this while aboard the Mosaique, a recently renovated luxury yacht designed to offer you maximum comfort as you navigate these life-filled waters.
Our journey begins with a flight from Malé to Fuvahmulah, where you’ll board the Mosaique, a floating haven with space for 24 passengers, ready to set sail towards adventure. During your stay, you’ll enjoy all meals, first-class accommodation, and, of course, the most epic dives you can imagine.
And if you want to extend your adventure, we offer two irresistible options! Before embarking, dive into the famous SharkTank in Hulhumalé for two days. Or, after the journey, relax and explore lush Sri Lanka.
Trip Description
Upon arrival at Malé airport, we will take a domestic flight to one of the southern atolls of the Maldives, which will be specified later. There, a transfer will be waiting to take us to the boat. Once on board, we will check into our cabins and be given a presentation and safety briefing.
During the week, we will complete 17 dives, some of which will be at night. We will cross the equator and venture into the deep south of the Maldives, a wilder and much less tourist-exploited area, offering great opportunities to see a wide variety of sharks, including tiger sharks, whale sharks, hammerhead sharks, and thresher sharks, as well as the usual white-tip sharks, grey sharks, turtles, and possibly even an oceanic manta ray.
The geographical location of the southern atolls makes it possible to spot almost any species from the Indian Ocean. On this route, it is common to see a wide variety of sharks, including deep-sea species like the thresher shark. But we won't just see sharks on this trip; we might also encounter schools of mobulas, eagle rays in formation, oceanic mantas, turtles, nudibranchs, Napoleon wrasse, a great variety of reef fish, and corals of all sizes.
